I am tired of being your victim,

tired of u thinking I am your child,

tired of u ruining my life,

try walking in my shoes for a while,

tired of your mood swings of happy then sad,

tired of all those pills u bring,

I'm sick now your making me mad,

no more time do I have for u,

no more time will I give,

no more Prozac or lithium,

no more of their side-effects giving me chills.

I am done no more, to you depression,

will I never again lay down my will.

I will to be happy,

I will to be free,

I will to hopeful,

most of all I will to be me.

I do not believe that the accident of birth makes people sister's and brothers. It makes them siblings. Gives them mutuality of parentage. Sisterhood and brotherhood are conditions people have to work at. It's a serious matter. You compromise, you give, you take, you stand firm, you're relentless... it is an investment. Sisterhood means if you happen to be in Burma and I happen to be in San Diego and I'm married to someone who is very jealous and you're married to somebody who is very possessive, if you call me in the middle of the night, I have to come.
